Biography:

        Liqun Peng(lq.peng@ecjtu.jx.cn) iscurrently an associate professor with the School of Transport at the East ChinaJiaotong University. He received his Ph.D. degree in transportation engineeringfrom Wuhan University of Technology, in China, in 2015. Since 2016, he has beenadmitted to University of Alberta as Postdoctoral Fellow, where he has workedon studying new algorithms and information technologies to model and optimizethe Intelligent Vehicle-Infrastructure System. His research interestsare in the area of advanced driving assistance system, connected vehicle andtraffic big data, specifically for improving roadway mobility and safety forboth arterial and freeway. Dr. Peng has been awarded an OutstandingPh.D. Thesis Awardat the 10thAnnualMeeting of China Intelligent Transportation Research Academic in 2015, and aBest Paper Awardatthe 13thAnnual China Academic Conference for Ph.D. Candidates in 2015.
